A Word about Dental Insurance
Employee dental insurance is often misunderstood. Most dental insurance policies pay for $1000 - $1500 of matching benefits per calendar year. The policy usually pays 100% of exams, routine cleanings, and preventive services.
Matching benefits means fillings are reimbursed at 80% and you, the patient, are responsible for the remaining 20% of our fees. Crowns and bridges are reimbursed at 50% and you are responsible for the remaining 50% of our fees.
Most dental insurance policies also have a $50.00 deductible that is the patient's responsibility at the beginning of each calendar year. We request you review your dental insurance policy so you are familiar with your dental insurance benefits.
